Taylor is 5 1/2. Or 3/4 as she likes to say. She will turn 6 in one month. She is a big help to me. She normally can keep her cool, and is very mature for her age. She likes skirts, glitter, and things that are sweet. She likes to help and take care of Aaron and Ella (most of the time.) She doesn't like it so much when I praise her or tell her how much I love her. I know she likes it on the inside, but on the outside, she just grunts as if to say, "Stop!" I think it's because she gets overwhelmed if too much attention is on her.
Emmett is 4. He doesn't like loud noises and is definitely loves to cuddle. His love language is physical touch (hugs, back scratches) and needs lots of positive one on one attention. He loves to fish and dig in the dirt. He has an affiinity for catching frogs and hanging onto them until they are not longer breathing. He loves it when I tell him how special he is to me, and how much I love him.
Ella is my little Buga Buga. I don't know why I call her that, it's something I started when she was just a baby. She has a personality all her own and is strong with that personality. She has to be told she will get a spank as she likes to call it, before she chooses to obey, although she's very polite with her words and mostly compliant when I give her an alternate way to act. For example, please don't yell at me, say can I have a drink please? And she'll calmly say, can I ahve a drink please? She wants to be like Emmett and Taylor. I think she thinks she's 4.
Aaron is a wonderful addition to our family. He's the one who keeps me sane when everything else is falling apart. I know that he's going to smile at me, and not talk back or whine, or scream and kick, or throw a fit. I will cherish these sweet days until he starts to do those things too.
